Tromthar Community Development Foundation ("TCDF") is a small group of people dedicated helping the nomads living on the Tibetan plateau improve their lives. We are based in Washington, DC, but our reach is broad. Our Board has experienced development experts, lawyers, and educators.
We are an all-volunteer organization, fully-recognized by the IRS as a non-profit, charitable organization (501(c)(3)).
We have purchased and distributed over 300 children's winter coats and school supplies to 700 students. Our next project is to buy illustrated Tibetan-Chinese-English language books for Damtar primary school.
